Flight Instructor Course is designed to teach the trainee how to demonstrate a flight maneuver or procedure to a student pilot, evaluate the student’s performance and correct student’s errors.
During the ground schooling, the instructor trainee will learn how to teach and how to conduct pre-flight and post-flight briefs.
This course prepares the student for Flight Instructor License (FIL).
In the Philippines, to be eligible for a Flight Instructor License (FIL), the applicant must be a holder of valid CPL and successfully completed the following:
- FI ground schooling.
- Right-seat flight training of not less than thirty (30) hours.
- CAAP written examination.
- Demonstration of flying skills to an examiner during a flight test (checkride).
Course duration is two (2) to three (3) months.
